Mixed first half for SBB as Meyer announces plan to step down
SWISS Federal Railways (SBB) returned a group result of SFr 279m ($US 279m) for the first half of this year, a 4.5% decrease from SFr 292m a year ago. Similarly, Ebit was down by 4% from SFr 302m to SFr 290m. Group revenues remained about the same at SFr 4.79bn (-0.6%), while group expenditure was up by 1.5% from SFr 4.45bn to SFr 4.52bn.
